She's walking!

I am a bit behind in posting this but a few weeks ago at the ripe old age of 10 months and 3 weeks, Cupcake officially started walking. I know I am a wierd mom but I actually love that she can walk. It means that I don't have to go crazy at the park keeping her out of the dirt, she can enjoy the play area at the mall and I can set her down and lead her into the house when my arms are full of groceries. Way to go, Fats!

Brothers!

Hog and Snausage have been so cute together lately. They share a room and sleep in bunk beds. Last week they asked if they could sleep together on the top bunk. I wasn't convinced they would actually go to sleep but they talked us into it and ended up sleeping that way for a whole week. I thought it was so cute that they wanted to be together that much.

Of course, like all brothers, they do fight. A few nights ago, after we put the kids to bed, Snausage came downstairs a little sad. Apparently, Hog told Snausage he didn't want to be his friend anymore and Snausage was crushed. Tim and I both about lost it when he emphatically told us that he was "breaking up" with Hog. How do they even know what "breaking up" is? At any rate, they were friends again in the morning and the "brake up" didn't last.

I didn't think to take a picture of them sleeping in their top bunk together, but I did manage to snap this one a few months ago when they snuck into our bed.

First Place!!!

Last night Albert won first place at the school's poetry recitation competition for second grade. Way to go, Al!!! You can watch her in action below.

Rock on!

Tim and I rocked out on Friday night at a "Rock Band" party with friends. I had the 80's look going while Tim decided to skip the costume and let his guitar skills do the talking. We had a blast!
